I have never voted for a tax increase on middle class families.

I have voted for balanced and responsible budgets in Springfield. Financially, things are moving in the right direction after 4 years of disastrous mismanagement by Bruce Rauner. 

Our credit rating has improved multiple times thanks to our smart fiscal management. We used to have $0 in our rainy-day fund, now we have $1 billion. This takes pressure off taxpayers and lowers our borrowing costs.
